Alibaba Maintains Share Capital Post-Listing Conversion

Alibaba (BABA) has released an update.

Alibaba Group Holding Limited reported no change in its authorized/registered share capital or issued shares, maintaining a balance of USD 100,000 and 19,254,701,124 ordinary shares respectively at the end of August 2024. The company confirmed compliance with all listing rules and regulations following its voluntary conversion to primary listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in late August 2024. No new shares were issued from options, convertibles or other agreements, and a repurchase of shares was conducted on the New York Stock Exchange, although these shares have not yet been cancelled.
