Alerus Financial Announces Board Changes and New EVP

Alerus Financial Corporation (ALRS) has released an update.

Kevin Lemke has announced he will not seek reelection to the board of directors of Alerus Financial Corporation at the upcoming annual meeting, with no disputes prompting his departure. Concurrently, the company has appointed Forrest Wilson as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Retirement Services Officer. Wilson brings extensive industry experience, previously holding leadership roles at Ameritas Mutual Holding Company and other financial firms. His role will be pivotal in guiding the company’s Retirement and Benefits division, and his compensation aligns with executive standards, including a signing bonus and restricted stock vesting over three years.
