Alba Mineral Resources has reported high-grade gold extracted from the Waste Tip at its wholly-owned Clogau-St David’s Gold Mine, with results showing significantly higher gold content than previous analyses suggested. The promising findings from the onsite refinery include up to 17.22 grams per tonne from sampled trenches, which could substantially enhance the economic potential of mining the Waste Tip. The company’s trenching program has produced over 33 tonnes of fine material, which is now being processed to confirm the Waste Tip’s viability for gold extraction.
