Airtel Africa Advances Share Buy-Back Program

Airtel Africa Plc (GB:AAF) has released an update.

Airtel Africa plc has actively pursued its share buy-back program, acquiring 380,000 of its own shares at prices ranging from 117.60p to 120.00p each, with a volume-weighted average price of 118.83p, on the London Stock Exchange. The company, a major telecommunications and mobile money provider in Africa, has bought back a total of 26,191,179 shares since March 2024, aiming to streamline customer experiences and enhance shareholder value. These shares will subsequently be cancelled as part of the program.
