Air China Projects Reduced First-Half Losses

Air China (HK:0753) has released an update.

Air China Limited has issued a profit warning, anticipating a net loss of RMB 2.3 to 3.0 billion for the first half of 2024, an improvement from the previous year’s RMB 4.365 billion loss. The unaudited estimates suggest a smaller net loss after non-recurring profits or losses, between RMB 2.8 to 3.8 billion, as the company capitalizes on market opportunities and cost reductions despite challenges in international route recovery and domestic competition.
