AIB Group (AIBRF) has released an update.
The ownership stake of AIB Group PLC by the Irish Minister for Finance through the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) has been significantly reduced, moving from 30.95% to 25.50%, and falling beneath the 26% threshold. This change in shareholding structure occurred on June 27, 2024, and was promptly reported to AIB Group and the Central Bank of Ireland the following day. No financial instruments were involved in this shift of voting rights, as indicated by the absence of such instruments in the reported holdings.
