Agronomics Limited has announced that its portfolio company, GALY, has successfully raised $33 million in an oversubscribed Series B financing round to enhance its sustainable cotton alternative using cellular agriculture. The funding will boost GALY’s R&D efforts for their eco-friendly GALY Cotton, which significantly reduces water, land use, and CO2 emissions compared to traditional cotton. Additionally, Agronomics’ investment in GALY has now reached a value of £2.6 million, marking a significant milestone for the company’s growth.
