Independent shareholders of Adbri Limited have overwhelmingly voted in favor of a proposed acquisition scheme by CRH ANZ Pty Ltd, with over 82% of voting shareholders and nearly 98% of votes supporting the move. The approved scheme promises to integrate Adbri into a global building materials business, offering growth and innovation opportunities. The final implementation of the scheme, which includes a payment of $3.20 per share to shareholders, is pending court approval and is expected to be completed by July 1, 2024.
