Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA (ACS) reported a substantial growth in the first half of 2024, with net profits rising by 8.1% to 416 million euros, and a significant 10.1% increase in sales to 18.749 billion euros. The company’s EBITDA climbed by 23.8%, largely due to the consolidation of the Australian mining company Thiess. In addition, the firm’s backlog surged by 12.8% to a record high, and it made strategic moves in Europe with the acquisition of the Irish engineering firm Dornan, as well as integrating its North American Engineering and Civil Construction businesses.
