ABx Group Limited has reported significant findings from a 37-hole drilling campaign in the northwest block of its Deep Leads rare earth element (REE) project in Tasmania, which revealed thicker-than-expected mineralization with high enrichment of dysprosium (Dy) and terbium (Tb). These elements are crucial for producing a mixed rare earth carbonate with a high supply risk, and the project boasts the highest proportion of Dy and Tb in Australia, setting a global benchmark. The favorable ore geometry suggests potential for land restoration post-mining, underscoring ABx Group’s promising developments in rare earth extraction.
