Abeona Therapeutics Inc. has strengthened its Board of Directors with the appointment of Dr. Bernhardt G. Zeiher and Dr. Eric Crombez, both recognized as independent directors. With extensive backgrounds in pharmaceuticals and medical practice, Dr. Zeiher brings experience from his time at Astellas Pharma and other industry positions, while Dr. Crombez’s expertise stems from his roles at Ultragenyx and Dimension Therapeutics, as well as his academic tenure at UCLA. Both appointees have no familial ties to the company’s executives and have been offered annual compensation and stock awards as part of their board membership.
