Firefly to Build the First Brain Model
Through Nvidia’s program, Firefly will develop a proprietary foundation model of the human brain, leveraging its Brain Network Analytics (BNA) platform powered by Resting EEG and Cognitive EEG (ERP) data.
Notably, Firefly’s BNA platform has been cleared by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and is set to transform diagnostic and treatment monitoring for conditions such as depression, dementia, anxiety disorders, concussions, and ADHD. The company is now aims to roll out its BNA platform commercially across various markets, targeting pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers.
Firefly Reaches Key Milestone with NVIDIA Connect Program
Greg Lipschitz, Executive Chairman of Firefly, described Nvidia’s tie-up as an “important milestone” for the company, coming at the perfect time.
The company added that its unmatched BNA database is growing with each clinical study and assessment using its technology. Therefore, with access to Nvidia’s innovative hardware and resources, it is now uniquely positioned to create the world’s first foundational model of the human brain.
Additionally, Nvidia’s program offers technical training, engineering support, and discounts on its software and hardware, enabling Firefly to speed up product development and enhance efficiency.
