Accenture (ACN) stock fell after the professional services company released its Fiscal Q2 2025 earnings report. The company reported diluted earnings per share of $2.82, which beat Wall Street’s $2.81 estimate. ACN’s EPS increased by 2% year-over-year compared to $2.77 per share.
Accenture reported revenue of $16.66 billion in its latest earnings release. That’s another beat compared to analysts’ revenue estimate of $16.62 billion. It also jumped 5.4% from the $15.8 billion reported in Fiscal Q2 2024. This growth was primarily from Accenture’s Americas market, which increased 9% year-over-year as Health & Public Service sector revenue jumped 8%.
ACN stock was down 1.36% in pre-market trading today despite these beats. This builds on its 7.37% drop year-to-date and its 4.39% decrease over the last 52 weeks.

Accenture’s Guidance Hammers ACN Stock
Investors aren’t impressed by Accenture’s latest guidance update. The company now expects Fiscal 2025 EPS to range from $12.55 to $12.79. At a midpoint of $12.67, this would miss Wall Street’s EPS estimate of $12.72. That’s despite ACN tightening its EPS outlook from the previous $12.43 to $12.79 range.
Accenture also expects revenue for Fiscal 2025 to increase 5% to 7% year-over-year. Yet again, this is a narrower outlook from its previous guidance of a 4% to 7% increase. It also provided a Fiscal Q3 2025 revenue outlook of $16.9 billion to $17.5 billion, with a midpoint of $17.2 billion, compared to Wall Street’s estimate of $17.22 billion.

Turning to Wall Street, the analysts’ consensus rating for Accenture is Strong Buy based on 12 Buy and four Hold ratings over the last three months. With that comes an average price target of $393.94, a high of $431, and a low of $355. This represents a potential 21.41% upside for ACN stock. These ratings and price targets will likely change as analysts update their coverage after today’s earnings.
