Apple (AAPL) will deliver some of its upcoming artificial intelligence features via data centers equipped with its own in-house processors, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports. Apple is placing high-end chips in cloud-computing servers designed to process the most advanced AI tasks coming to Apple devices, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg. Simpler AI-related features will be processed directly on iPhones, iPads and Macs, said the people. The move is part of Apple’s push into generative artificial intelligence, Gurman notes. Shares of chip marker Nvidia (NVDA) are down $12.20 to $891.93 following the report.
