At the recent Annual Meeting, shareholders of the company made key decisions affecting its governance and executive compensation. All nominated directors were successfully elected, executive officer pay received a nod of approval, and the Restated Plan was sanctioned. Shareholders reaffirmed Deloitte LLP as the independent auditor for the upcoming fiscal year. However, proposals for reporting on equal employment opportunity risks, amending Bylaws for an independent board chair, and detailing the company’s proxy voting on climate change were all rejected.
