Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 1,326,175 of its own shares at an average price of GBP 6.8117 each, with the intention to cancel them, which will reduce the total number of shares in issue to 2,704,677,492. The transaction was conducted through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange, in line with the authority given by Prudential’s shareholders at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
