Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica PLC has announced the purchase of 253,378 of its own ordinary shares on September 26, 2024, as part of an ongoing buyback program, with the shares to be held as treasury shares. Since the start of the program on August 8, 2024, Centrica has acquired over 20 million shares, costing more than £25 million. The company now holds approximately 454.86 million shares in treasury, with over 5.2 billion shares in issue.
