Xbox game ‘Sea of Thieves’ best-selling digital PS5 game in Europe in April

Xbox Game Studios’ (MSFT) 2018 multiplayer title “Sea of Thieves” was the best-selling video game on Sony‘s (SONY) digital PlayStation Store in Europe last month following the game’s release on the PlayStation 5 in late April. In the European Union, four of the top ten best-selling games on PS5 are Microsoft-owned, including “Sea of Thieves,” “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III,” “Grounded,” and “Fallout 4.” “Sea of Thieves,” meanwhile” was also the third best-selling PS5 game in the U.S. and Canada in April.
